As their families and friends were scattered all over the world, any location would work as this couples destination wedding weekend. Looking at their beautiful estate in Florida for a November wedding, I realized that we could create the look they wanted, Tivoli Gardens, right here at their family home. The ceremony was held under an old oak tree, embellished with lanterns, sunflowers, roses and the beautiful, custom, branch Chuppah beneath. The burgundy and gold color scheme worked well with mahogany chiavari chairs and the natural woods of the property. As dusk approached, cocktail hour followed under a chandelier canopy tent on the great lawn. The dinner reception followed and was held in their screen enclosed pool room fitted with a clear plexiglass illuminated dance floor covering the pool. The bridal party sat at a King table covered in merlot and gold linens with menus, gold chargers, and decorative china and stemware to incorporate their Tuscan theme. The floral centerpieces alternated from tall branch stands to low warm lanterns; offering interest to the very high skylight ceiling. The Chuppah was moved into the reception room as a beautiful backdrop to their red velvet wedding cake; and a reminder of a very special and beautiful wedding.
